Northside Establishment is the Varsity Show Choir from Davenport North High School in Davenport, IA.  The 47 member vocal ensemble, 15 piece show band and 18 member crew is comprised of students in grades 9-12 who are also members of a concert choir at North.  Many of these students have participated in the Iowa All-State Choir and ICDA OPUS Honor choir festival.  In this, their 28th season of competition, they will join other competitive ensembles at Bettendorf HS, Davenport Central HS, Benton HS, Davenport West HS, and the Chicago HOA Invitational.  Past years highlights included multiple 1st  and 2nd  runner-up finishes as well as being named Grand Champion this past year at the West Branch, Saturday Night Jive Show Choir Invitational.

 

Davenport North Vocal Music or the 53rd St Singers, hosts the Big Dance in late January which highlights our school, students, and amazing parent volunteers as 17 competing ensembles vie for the title of Grand Champion.   

 

Northside Establishment is under the direction of Ryan K. Riewerts and John Whitson and is accompanied by Tabitha Jones with Pit preparation by Matt Dutton.  Northside’s choreography was designed by Ben Eklund with assistance from Matt Watson.  Northside wants to wish all show choirs the best of luck today and a special thank you to all of our parents who are always there to make our show happen!
